By-Laws of Norman Lodge No. 10 – Norman Oklahoma Territory

Article I – Meetings
Section 1.
The regular meetings of this Lodge shall be held Thursday evening of each and every week. The hour of meeting shall be, from the first day of September to the first day of November, and from the first day of February to the first day of April at 7:30 o’clock: and from the first day of November to the first day of February, at 7:30 o’clock: and from the first day of April to the first day of September at 8 o’clock: and the lodge shall be opened within fifteen minutes of the appointed time: Provided a legal quorum of five members be present.
Article II – Fees and Dues.
Section 1.
Every application for membership, by initiation shall be accompanied by the proper fee, which shall be as follows
viz;
For the initiation of every person under the age of thirty: $10.00
Thirty and under forty: $10.00
Forty and under fifty: $10.50
Fifty and under sixty: $15.00
Sixty and upwards: $20.00
Section II.
Ancient Odd Fellows
If under thirty years of age, shall pay $5.00: if over thirty and under forty, $5.00: forty and under fifty, $5.00: fifty and under sixty: $7.50: sixty and upwards $10
Section 3.
Applicants for membership to this lodge on withdrawal cards in date shall be be admitted free [If elected].
Section 4.
A member of this Lodge who has been dropped for non-payment of dues shall upon reinstatement pay $5.25.
Section 5.
The fee for a visiting card shall be .50¢, and for a withdrawal card, $1.00.
Section 6.
The dues shall be $1.30 per quarter.
Section 7.
The fees for degrees in this lodge shall be as follows: $5 for the first, $5 for the second: $5 for the third.
Article III – Benefits
Section 1.
Every Scarlet Degree member entitled to benefits, according to Section 1, of Art. 3 of the Constitution, shall, in case of sickness or disability, receive from the funds of the Lodge $3 per week, during his sickness or disability. On the death of a brother of the Scarlet Degree in good standing, the sum of $30.00 shall be paid to his widow or nearest relative, toward defraying his funeral expenses. On the decease of the wife of a brother of the Scarlet Degree in good standing, he shall be entitled to $15.00.
Article IV – Visiting Committee and Boundary Limits
Section 1.
The term “Visiting Boundary Limits” as applicable to Relief and Visiting committee, and sick and disabled brothers, shall mean with 10 miles of the locality of Lodge. Upon becoming cognizant of the sickness or disability of a brother, each member of the Visiting Committee shall make regular visitations as follows;
The Noble Grand on Thursday
Treasurer on Friday
Vice Grand on Saturday
R.S. to N.G. on Sunday
L.S. to N.G. on Monday
R.S. to V.G. on Tuesday
L.S. to V.G. on Wednesday
of each week, during such brother’s sickness or disability.
Article V – Official Bonds
Section 1.
The official bonds of the Secretary, or Permanent Secretary, if there be one., shall be in the sum of $100.00; of the Treasurer, $200.00; of the Trustees, $300.00.
